Greta is an upholstered chair with armrests featuring metal legs, making it lighter and more manageable compared to the Greta Wood version, which boasts legs in premium and captivating wood finishes. For the kitchen snack bar a stool with armrests version is also available.
Completing the family are the models dedicated to the living area and the outdoors. In the former, the Greta Lounge study or lounge armchair features a low, wide and welcoming seat. In the latter, the Greta Outdoor chair interprets modern outdoor furniture as a seamless extension of the living space.
The uniqueness of this family of chairs lies in the division between the seat part and the wrap-around cushion, which joins the back to the armrests. This hollow structure makes the cushion very large and comfortable, decorated with four stitches that create a soft and refined capitonné effect.
The floating backrest on this designer armchair is also soft and comfortable, consisting of a curved, contoured cylinder that wraps around the back, ending in comfortable upholstered armrests.
Between the seat and the base, an intriguing play of contrasts is created, juxtaposing upholstered and rigid materials, full and empty volumes, and welcoming or incisive forms. The three slender legs are crafted from elliptical-section metal tubes, finished with embossed coatings in various elegant shades to perfectly complement the extensive range of fabric and leather swatches. What’s more, the combinations between the premium wood of the more tactile version and the upholstery covers in selected nuances and textures surprise with their taste and sophistication.
The central leg at the back of this modern dining armchair is actually two legs placed close together to create a single point of support. The vertical space in the centre plays on the concept of solid and empty spaces between the backrest and seat. The result is a cohesive design that conveys an overall feeling of lightness and balance.
